Extra Attraction: Britini D’Angelo Virtual Keynote Added to Ocean County Library’s 2022 Autism Resources Fair

March 15, 2022

TOMS RIVER – Britini D’Angelo, whose revelations about autism on the CBS reality show Big Brother vaulted her to prominence among a new generation of advocates, is the newest addition to the Ocean County Library’s 2022 Autism Resources Fair. She will deliver a virtual keynote discussion, 2 PM Saturday, April 9.

During the Big Brother Season 23 finale, Britini revealed that she holds a fourth-degree karate black belt, that she’s a teacher, and that she is autistic. She has said that her goal is “to bring about increased acceptance [and] awareness to the neurodivergent community, and ultimately to stop multiple stigmas associated with autism in society.”

Britini continues to advocate for those with autism through podcasts and articles in numerous publications.

The valedictorian of Niagara University’s Class of 2019 holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre Performance, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Media, and a Master’s degree in Early Childhood and Childhood Education with certifications in Special Education for grades 1 through 6 and Theatre Education for grades K through 12.

Additionally, Britini is three-time World Champion in Chuck Norris System Karate, and, in her own words, a “dancing queen on TikTok.”

Registration at www.theoceancountylibrary.org/events is required to attend the event. Registrants will receive links to the Zoom presentation by email. Registrants who request professional development credits during signup will receive them after the program.

The 2022 Autism Resources Fair is made possible by a generous donation from the Ocean County Library Foundation. See the full schedule of events at www.theoceancountylibrary.org/autism.
