Instructions for 3D Print Submissions:

  1. Visit Thingiverse.com, MakerWorld.com, Printables.com, or NASA

  2. Find something you’d like to be printed

  3. Fill out the form below

 

 

Important 3D Printing Information:

  • 3D printers are not available for use by the public, but requests can be submitted below.
  • Items are printed in a single color. You may submit color preferences in the form below, but filament color is based on availability.
  • Prints are limited to a three-hour print time.
  • 3D prints are now limited to two prints per household, once every 30 days.
  • Individual 3D print requests may not exceed five pieces.
  • We cannot print weapons of any kind.
  • 3D prints that are not picked up within 14 days will be donated to the community.
  • This service is reserved for residents of Ocean County.

 

When using Thingiverse, scroll down and look below the items image for a field marked "files".

If the number of files is greater than 5, we will not be able to complete your request. Single files that contain multiple parts in excess of 5 pieces will not be able to be completed.

When using MakerWorld, look to the right of the item's image for a clock icon followed by a time, designating how long a print will take. Anything in excess of 3 hours will not be able to be completed.

All colors will not be available at all times.

In case your first color choice is not available, we ask for a second color choice as a backup.
